So, I was kicked back on the floor one afternoon, staring at the ceiling fan & just ruminatin' on my place in the universe. A line came to me: when I awoke, I was ravenous. I wasn't sure it was going to be in anything I published soon, but I kind of liked it. So much, in fact, that I put together seven or eight scenarios which all started with that line, and all went to different places. Of course, I've lost them all, having not written them down, but the impulse remains and the line is still compelling. So that's my first one. I hope there's room on the "page" to add these as I want to, but here are some other prompts I'll use soon, whether as an opening line in a story/sketch or poem, or somewhere near the beginning. I'm trying to avoid the almost immediate association of each of these lines to something else I've written or am currently trying to write. I don't think it will work.

I let her talk. It didn't matter.
Even empty space is too full to comprehend.
Lying there on the floor, all the furniture looked alien, elongated. (Yes, I know it's a dangling modifier. Fucking sue me. Maybe it's intentional.)
